Now being in the last quarter of my Bachelors program, I was still not satisfied with my brand because I felt that it didn’t reflect all of the work I produced and how much I have grown as a profession designer. Yet again I went back to the drawing board but this time I want to successfully combine my initials into one symbol instead of two. I thought of this as math problem; V+G=?, now there had to be a solution to this design problem. So I took the initial shape of the V or a triangle and when from there till I had a concept that read as both a V and a G simultaneously.

Now being an experienced designer I wanted a business card to match. Despite my brand using bright colors, I went with a simple black matt card with an aluminum finish on my logo. The reason being as to create an eye catching card people will remember. I kept the back sleek as well, only including my name, email, portfolio domain, and Facebook, Again adding the silver aluminum to my logo.
Looking back at what I had for a portfolio, I felt that I needed a website that better reflected current web design trends and my experience as a designer. The main priority for my new portfolio design is mobile first. People both young and old are browsing the web now more than ever, so the design my portfolio needed function and look well on all mobile platforms. I wanted to go with a one page responsive layout where the user can just scroll from top to bottom without having to click on another page.
